My last journal was from before Dragon*Con '11.  Dragon*Con '12 has already come and gone (I cosplayed as Merrill from DA2, pics may come later) and holy crap it's a year later.  I don't even know if anybody bothers to read this anymore but I might as well put up what I've been up to for the past year.
-Still no prosthetics residency.  Having failed that and running out of time before all schools start switching to a Masters program that I CANNOT afford, I enrolled in Orthotics school despite my distinct lack of preference for it.  I'm discovering it can be fun and the patient population is definitely

Hmm. Hardly ever update this thing anymore.
Anywhoodles, I'll be going to Dragon Con this year! First time! I've never been to one this big before; I'm a little overwhelmed. I'm going to be cosplaying as a Warden mage from Dragon Age: Origins, more specifically Surana (the elf). My robes are light blue and purple so if you see me, give me a holler! I'll be wandering around with Daenyx (https://www.deviantart.com/daenyx) who'll be going as Morrigan or with kage-koumori (https://www.deviantart.com/kage-koumori) who's going as Isabela or a Grey Warden!Bethany (dunno her deviantart name off the top of my head).
Only JUST finished my cosplay an hour ago. *passes out*

She has a very expressive style, reminds me vaguely of Disney, but not quite. Not to mention her Warden OC is 10 different kinds of awesome. He has his own fan-club on Tumblr. No seriously. He does. Hey there lovey! How have you been? 
Fine and dandy and busy! I start school again soon, this time for Orthotics (making braces). So after that, hopefully it'll be a lot easier for me to get a residency. Same as before: online courses for 6 months, then 3 months in Chicago. Believe it or not, I'm actually excited to be learning stuff again.
As far as fandom is concerned, I've fallen into the time sink that is Star Wars: The Old Republic. Some idiot friends of mine were having fun without me and I couldn't have that XD. I occasionally write ficlets about it, and about my other characters and such, but not much beyond that.
